Papi Doxy Antibacterial 60ml

Papi Doxy is a veterinary oral suspension containing Doxycycline Hyclate at a concentration of 10mg/mL, formulated to treat a wide range of bacterial infections in dogs and cats. It is especially effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, rickettsiae, mycoplasma, chlamydia, and certain protozoal infections. It’s commonly prescribed for respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, tick-borne diseases (like Ehrlichiosis), leptospirosis, and other systemic infections.

Indications:

• Respiratory infections (e.g. kennel cough, pneumonia)

• Tick-borne diseases (e.g. Ehrlichia, Anaplasma)

• Urinary tract and skin infections

• Chlamydia and Mycoplasma infections

• Leptospirosis and Toxoplasmosis (as part of combination therapy)

Dosage & Administration:

• General dosage: 0.5 to 1 mL per kg body weight, every 12–24 hours

• Duration: Typically 7 to 28 days, depending on infection type and severity

• Administer orally using a dosing syringe. Best given on an empty stomach unless advised otherwise by a veterinarian.

Precautions:

• Do not use in animals allergic to doxycycline or tetracyclines

• Avoid in pregnant or lactating animals

• Use caution in very young animals, as it may affect bone growth and cause teeth discoloration

• Always follow your veterinarian’s dosage instructions; complete the full course of treatment

Side Effects:

• Possible mild side effects include vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite

• If severe reactions occur (e.g., facial swelling, difficulty breathing), discontinue use and seek veterinary help immediately

Storage Instructions:

• Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight

• Shake well before each use

• Refrigerate after opening and use within the recommended period on the label
